The Amplivox S610A Half Mile Hailer combines the portability and simplicity of a megaphone with the power and versatility of a PA system.
The S610A Half Mile Hailer delivers 50 watts of power, so you can cover an area the size of a football field!
For all its power, the Half Mile Hailer weighs a mere 12 pounds, and comes with a shoulder strap that makes it easy to take wherever you go. It can also be mounted on a car, boat or tripod stand.
The Amplivox S610A includes a separate wired handheld dynamic cardioid microphone, so you only need to hold the mic to be seen as well as heard.
The Half Mile Hailer also has separate inputs for multiple wired and wireless microphones. You can purchase compatible wireless handheld or hands-free microphones kits separately, or upgrade to the SW610A or SW615A, which come with a built-in 16 channel wireless receiver and wireless hands-free or wireless handheld microphones, respectively.
The S610A features a line out jack for a tape recorder so you can record your performance as it is happening. It also has an auxiliary input jack which can accommodate a CD player, tape player or computer sound system for a multimedia presentation that will capture the crowd’s attention.
The 2 speaker jacks allow you to connect up to 4 speakers using Y-connectors, so you can deliver true stereo sound and cover an even wider area.
The S610A uses 10 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included) to provide up to 200 hours of talk time, or you can use the rechargeable NiCad battery pack and AC adapter/recharger for up to 20 hours of talk time between charges. Warranty: 6-year manufacturer’s limited warranty
