The Amplivox S1244-70 Half Mile Hailer has a built-in 50-watt amplifier that drives a 60-watt horn and a wireless receiver. It also includes a separate master transmitter. The S1244-70 is compatible with the Half-Mile Hailer Family, and included in the SW640 package.
The Half Mile Hailer delivers 50 watts of power, so you can cover an area the size of a football field!
For all its power, the Half Mile Hailer weighs a mere 12 pounds, and comes with a shoulder strap that makes it easy to take wherever you go. It can also be mounted on a car, boat or tripod stand.
A built-in wireless receiver can be combined with either hand-free, or handheld wireless mics to allow you to put down the Half Mile Hailer and roam the crowd while still being heard. (first or only unit in a given installation must be an S1244-70) Can be mounted on tripods, model S1080 or S1090. It can be powered by 10 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included), or NiCad rechargeable battery Model S1465 or Model S1460 AC Adapter (all sold separately).
