The LR-500-072 is a great choice for venues that change channels frequently or maintain several wireless audio systems. This model is at 72MHz and is also available with 216MHz, model LR-500-216. It is digitally tuned so transmission will not drift, assuring that when you select a channel, it stays on channel. The LR-500-072 utilizes the 57 most common wide band channels (unless electronically locked on one channel), with Up, Down and “SEEK” channel selection buttons behind the mechanically locking door, thus discouraging end users from changing the channel selected. Electronically lock on channel by holding the “SEEK” button down 5 seconds to prevent tampering. The exclusive built-in belt clip “loop,” located on the back, prevents the unit from slipping off of your belt or strap.
This receiver has a line-level earphone jack (3.5mm) that accepts either mono or stereo headsets. Receiver antenna is built into the earphone cord, eliminating additional wires while maximizing receiver effectiveness.
Listen has created SQ technology, which is a combination of audio technologies that provides the highest signal-to-noise ratio available in its products category. The LR-500-072 utilizes the same 72MHz channels as most other assistive listening systems giving you the flexibility to mix and match with other assistive listening equipment as long as the SQ is disabled.
This unit operates on either standard or rechargeable AA batteries. Listen’s unique charging circuitry is conveniently built into the receivers. The built-in SmartCharge does not allow batteries to overcharge; never worry about unplugging the transformer at a certain time, just use the ultimate convenient drop in charging contacts located at the bottom of the unit.
Compatible headsets with this receiver include the Listen LA-164 ear speaker and the LA-165 Buy as B stock stereo headphone.
Please Note: The built-in charging feature can only be used with rechargeable AA batteries and not standard AA batteries.
