The Amplivox S615A Half Mile Hailer has all the great features of the S610A. The big difference is that this version includes a built-in 16 channel UHF wireless receiver from 584MHz – 608MHz and a wireless handheld microphone for even greater flexibility. An easy to use 50 Watt amp really powers out the sound, just turn it on, adjust the volume and start talking.
The Half Mile Hailer combines the portability and simplicity of a megaphone with the power and versatility of a PA system. The weather proof horn speaker produces wider sound dispersion than other available products.
The Half Mile Hailer delivers 50 watts of power, so you can cover an area the size of a football field, up to 3000 people.
For all its power, the Half Mile Hailer weighs a mere 12 pounds, and comes with a shoulder strap that makes it easy to take wherever you go. It can also be mounted on a car, boat or tripod stand. If you need to be heard in a large and noisy crowd this is your solution.
The built-in wireless receiver and wireless handheld microphone/transmitter allow you to put down the Half Mile Hailer and roam the crowd while still being heard.
The Half Mile Hailer features a line out jack for a tape recorder so you can record your performance as it is happening. It also has an auxiliary input jack to accommodate a CD player, tape player or computer sound system for a multimedia presentation that will capture the crowd’s attention.
Two speaker jacks allow you to connect up to 4 speakers using Y-connectors, so you can deliver true stereo sound and cover an even wider area.
The SW615A uses 10 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included) to provide up to 200 hours of talk time, or you can use the optional S1460 echargeable NiCad battery pack and the S1465 AC adapter/recharger for up to 20 hours of talk time between charges.
The Half Mile Hailer has separate inputs for multiple optional wired and wireless microphones. You can purchase compatible wireless hands-free microphones separately, or opt for the SW610A Half Mile Hailer system, which comes with the wireless hands-free headset & lapel microphones included.
