The Williams Sound WIR TX238 is ideal for TV listening, meetings, or any small group listening application. Listen at the volume of your comfort without disturbing others. The system connects directly to your TV, VCR, or DVD equipped with standard output jacks. It features high quality, low distortion sound, and angled ear couplings for maximum comfort and performance. The On/Off switch is built into the “arms” of the receiver so it can never be left on to drain the batteries. The TX238 also comes with the MIC 084 television microphone for devices which lack an audio output.
The TX238 is compatible the WIR RX239 neckloop receiver and the WIR RX238 under-the-chin style receiver. It is also part of two complete systems, the WIR 238 infrared TV listening system with the under-the-chin style receiver, and the WIR 239 infrared system with the neckloop receiver. Pair the transmitter with a Williams Sound receiver listen to your favorite television program, wirelessly and privately, within a 30 foot line-of-site area of the transmitter. You can very often use your personal receiver at most cinemas, theaters, and other facilities that have an infrared, assistive listening device (ALD) system installed.
